“I have had the pleasure of working with interior designer, Kristine Gregory, since 1998. In the years we have worked together, Ms. Gregory has completed many projects for me. Initially, she helped me choose a color palette for my new home, creating a harmonious flow from room to room and providing a background for other design decisions. She has consulted on window treatments, carpets and floor tiles, light fixtures, decorative pillows and window seat cushions, decorative paint treatments, wallpaper, upholstered furniture, mirrors, shower curtains, reupholstery, and room arrangement. Her creative touch is present in every room of my house.
Ms. Gregory always presents several ideas for a particular project with photographs, sketches, and material samples for me to consider. She submits clear and precise work proposals, and projects are always completed on time and delivered at my convenience. Any installations, wallpapering, painting, etc. that have been required have been done professionally by Ms. Gregory or by those she has recommended. She always closely supervises the work of any subcontractors that are used. On the one or two occasions when there has been a problem with an order, Ms. Gregory has made sure that it was corrected immediately and to my satisfaction. She has never pressured me to complete a particular project despite the work she has put into a proposal.
The best part of working with Kristine Gregory has been her ability to understand what I like, and to work within my budget. “I have engaged the services of Ms. Gregory several times over the past two years to design and decorate my new home. On the first occasion, my home was not built, so Ms. Gregory took the blueprints and designed the layout for the furniture in several rooms. I have some large pieces of furniture, Persian rugs, but also needed to purchase furniture for some rooms. To me, it was impossible to make all of the pieces work, but she was able to place each item in an area that worked out beautifully.
The most recent encounter with Ms. Gregory was a couple months ago when she designed the layout for the cabinetry in our bar area, the design of the island and layout of furniture, working with the blueprints and the bare, unfinished basement. She was instrumental in making our thoughts come to fruition by designing the basement for easy flow and comfort.
